Pullet Flock Detail

Business Rules

1. You can only allocate birds based on what is available on the Hatch Order.


2. When allocation to a Pullet Barn exceeds the barn capacity, a warning will be displayed.


3. Pullet Flock "target" dates (Vaccination, BloodTest, SecondSE, MoveOut) are calculated from the Hatchorder HatchDate1 and HatchDate2. This occurs when a source Hatch Order is updated, and when the Pullet Flock is created or modified.


4. Allocating more birds to a Lay Flock than what is called for by the Lay Flock Quantity is not permitted.


5. Bird Class: If the Bird Class is changed after a flock is created, an email alert will be sent to all users who are Managers or System Managers in the Pullet Flock module.

Deleting a Pullet Flock

A Pullet Flock may be deleted when the following criteria are met:

1. There are no Weekly records.
2. There are no Allocations to Lay Flocks.
3. There are no Notes.
4. There are no Workorders.
