Central HelpThis is the help website for the Central software.
The application is organized in "modules" that generally represent groups of related concepts. Modules are represented and navigated by using the main menu on the left of the Navigator window. The Navigator is designed to show how information flows and relates to other objects.
There are 4 levels of user access to areas in the software:
By default, a user is a viewer in each module. User levels are assigned per module. This means that a user that is an Editor in one module could be a Viewer in another, for example.
It is very helpful to understand how data flows in the software. If you understand how the various pieces of data relate to each other, it will make your work a lot easier, especially when trying to resolve a problem. If you are uncertain about the ramifications of doing something such as deleting a record, please check with support first.
In a variety of places in the software you will encounter fields that have a light yellow background. Those fields are not editable by users. The background color is to indicate that they are locked, and the values in those fields are computed real-time from supporting data.
